Organizing the Books
I need list for my books. Yes, I am serious. I guess I should be clear – this is another list. I already have several: a list of books arriving daily and sitting on the shelves, a list of books in circulation with volunteers, and a list of books we’ve donated. The ones on this list are the books I had not heard about until I read someone’s review.
So, to accomplish that I created the Make Room for More page on this blog. For the past six months, I have been adding stars to items in my blog reader. While that is helpful for some things (like news items), it doesn’t do much when I want a go-to collection of books I really want to read. I need ONE PLACE for books I’ve read/heard about but don’t yet own. Yes, I could use my virtual TBR pile on GoodReads, but it’s harder to link that list to the blog, and the format doesn’t work for my goals.
This could be my defacto “1000 books list,” I guess. We’ll have to wait and see. In the meantime, I have a handy way to grab an extra title or two when I reserve books at the library … without having to dig through other lists or (worse yet) rely on my memory!

My problem is, I lose the list with the particular thing on it that I want.
