Poetry Friday – Raise the Roof
… and shake your groove thing. I’m afraid disco lyrics are as close as I get to poetry today.
I’ve got “Disco Inferno” now burned into my brain … I won’t mention the others, because I’m sure you’re now humming “burn, baby, burn” and can’t get rid of it.
I’ve spent the day helping out at our elementary school’s Health Fair. We were getting the kids moving with some dancing – 15 minutes for them, 2 hours for me. I will say that there are a lot of Kindergartners, first and second graders that can work a groove.
So, before I just.fall.over. I wanted to to let you know that Amy Planchak Graves is hosting Poetry Friday today ayuddha.net. You KNOW that since this is National Poetry Month, we’ll be raisin’ the roof! Don’t be a wallflower. Join the party.
