What an example of how powerful a picture book can really be! When you wrap such a heartwarming, inspirational story with breathtaking illustrations and beautiful writing, it’s the ultimate gift to people of ages.

Picture books like this one not only raise cultural and global awareness, but they also show us how our similarities are so much more important than any differences we may have. A great complement to this book would be Mem Fox’s Whoever You Are.
