Thursday Blurb: Booklights
Brrrr … where did spring go? It was 34 here in the Shenandoah Valley this morning. , though it seems to be warming up nicely now.
While Jen Robinson is enjoying the thrills of being a new mom, I will be writing a weekly column at Booklights. Susan Kusel is moving to Jen’s Monday spot … and she has a GREAT post about our reading memories and trying pass them on to our kids. I was surprised that you hadn’t stopped by to comment yet?!
Yesterday I launched Bookworm Basics, which will take a literacy theme and then apply it to the three levels we generally associate with reading development: emergent literacy, early literacy, and independent reader. Yesterday’s inaugural post drew on ways to use and/or create poetry. If you have questions or ideas, I’d love to hear them …
Head over to Booklights, by the time you get there, Pam will probably have her Thursday Three ready to go! (link to last week’s Thursday Three.
